ACQUISITION: Read King sells 8,024 SF Market at City Park in Houston, shadow-anchored by Joe V’s Smart Shop. Read King Commercial Real Estate sold The Market at City Park, an 8,024 SF retail center at 11710 South Freeway in Houston, Texas. Built in 2024 on approximately 1.5 acres, the property was fully leased at the time of sale to Chipotle Mexican Grill, Marble Slab Creamery/Great American Cookies, The UPS Store and TLN Family Dental. The center is shadow-anchored by a Joe V’s Smart Shop, an H-E-B grocery brand. Chris Gainey and Philip Levy of Marcus & Millichap brokered the transaction.
PEOPLE MOVES: KeyPoint Partners adds eight retail properties to management portfolio, totaling 460K+ SF. KeyPoint Partners has been awarded property management contracts for eight retail and mixed-use properties across Massachusetts and Rhode Island, adding more than 460,000 square feet to its portfolio. The assignments span Ashland, Danvers, Harwich, Holyoke and Plymouth, Massachusetts, and Warwick and Woonsocket, Rhode Island. The firm will also handle leasing for six of the eight properties. According to William Lawler, partner and director of property and asset management, the assignments include both repeat business from existing clients and new client relationships. KeyPoint Partners’ management portfolio now totals more than 21 million square feet across 320-plus properties in 14 states.
