NEW TO MARKET: CBRE markets 23,000 SF Sylva Shops in Western North Carolina for $7.8M. CBRE is marketing Sylva Shops, a retail property at 86–182 Walmart Plaza in Sylva, North Carolina. The publicly available listing advertises approximately 23,000 square feet at an asking price of $7.8 million, with a 7.25% cap rate. Will Register of CBRE’s Charlotte office circulated the offering.
FINANCING: Eastern Union arranges $12.9M acquisition loan for 174K SF Lima Center in Ohio. Eastern Union arranged $12.9675 million in acquisition financing for Lima Tov LLC to purchase Lima Center, a 174,078 SF shopping center in Lima, Ohio, for $19.5 million. The center was 98% leased at closing and is anchored by Kohl’s and TJ Maxx. Other tenants include Five Below and Dollar Tree. Eastern Union’s financing team included Managing Director Jack Beida, Senior Managing Director Michael Muller and Commercial Loan Analyst Mike Orlik.
LEASE SIGNED: Shops at Stone Bridge in Cheshire reaches full occupancy with AT&T signing. The Shops at Stone Bridge, a 155,637 SF retail center in Cheshire, Connecticut, reached full occupancy with the addition of an AT&T store. The center is owned by Regency Centers and was developed by Zelco Properties, a development affiliate of Charter Realty. Major tenants include Whole Foods Market, TJ Maxx, Barnes & Noble, Saybrook Home, Sephora and Shake Shack. Regency Centers lists Shanna Athas as the property’s leasing contact.
LEASE SIGNED: Thalhimer completes three Hampton Roads retail leases, including CHKD Thrift Stores renewal. Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer completed several retail lease transactions across Hampton Roads, Virginia. Southern Comfort Restaurant and Lounge renewed its 15,563 SF lease at Coliseum Corner, 2153–2185 Cunningham Drive in Hampton, with Clay Willis representing the landlord. Goldfish Swim School leased 5,964 square feet at Regency Hilltop, 1952 Laskin Road in Virginia Beach, with occupancy expected in late February or early March 2027; Connie Jordan Nielsen represented the tenant. CHKD Thrift Stores renewed its 5,000 SF lease at Hilltop Square Shopping Center, 528–550 First Colonial Road in Virginia Beach, with Connie Jordan Nielsen and Dean Martin representing the landlord.
